Choir Committee

Following the recent departure of Chris Srawley from the Chairman role committee member Beverley Grainger (A1) was elected Chairman at the LPC committee meeting on 21 Aug 2008. Chris Srawley will continue in the new officer role of Concerts Manager. We welcome new committee members Jackie Blake (S1), Diane Johnson (A1), Rupert Herd (B2) and Bramwell Rudd (T2).

Elizabeth Steele (A2) now takes over responsibility for publicity from Judy Barton.

Choir Patron

It is with great pleasure that we advise members that our friend, conductor and acclaimed composer Karl Jenkins has agreed to accept the position of Patron to Leicester Philharmonic Choir. This is a very exciting development and we are honoured that he has seen fit to join us in this role. We can look forward to future collaborations and hopefully further concerts with Karl.
