Music that Penetrates the Soul The other night, 100 voices of the Leicester Philharmonic Choir, supported by the Orchestra da Camera, gave Handel's Messiah at De Montfort Hall. The thrill of the Hallelujah Chorus, which filled the great hall with pure sound and resonates in the body as no electronically enhanced music can, is followed by the soprano solo which penetrates to the soul.
A great performance.
